To uninstall an app directly from your iPad, iPhone, or iTouch, press the app icon on your gadget you want to remove/uninstall until all icons on the screen start to wobble. If you see them wobbling, you will also see an “X” icon in the upper left corner of each icon.
When you tap the “X” icon, a pop-up message will appear from which you can remove/uninstall the application.

To do this, open iTunes and select the Apps option under the Library category. You will immediately find yourself on the same screen as below, which shows all the apps installed in the iTunes library and thus on your PC’s hard drive.
Why Don’t Some Apps Show An “X” Button?
It is not allowed to remove or uninstall the standard applications pre-installed on your device. These include Contacts, App Store, Calendar, Game Center, iTunes, etc. You can uninstall some of these apps by switching the parental controls on your iGadget.
