You’ve just started vaping and are puffing away on your brand new vaporizer, but you find that the hits are not as big as you expected. What is wrong? Is it the vaporizer? Is it you? The problem could be anything, but don’t worry, this article gives you the solutions you need to get the desired hits from your vape. It doesn’t matter whether you’re vaporizing dry herb or using a Vape Mod, you’ll get the biggest hits out of your vape as soon as you’re done with this article.
Get the Biggest Hits out of Your Vape!
1. Proper Inhalation Technique
The technique that gives you bigger clouds – and more intense hits – is direct lung inhalation. It’s just the way it sounds: you inhale the vapour directly into your lungs in one breath and then exhale.
This is an advanced technique, and beginners may cough a little – or a lot – at first, because it gives a more intense hit. But once you get the hang of it, you’ll truly be floating! This technique works with any type of vaporizer, but with Vape-Mods you’ll really notice the results.
2. Get Juiced Up
This tip is for the vape modders out there. Most Vape juice consists of a mixture of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG). VG is what makes the big clouds. So if you want a super dense vapour, choose an E-liquid with a higher ratio of VG to PG or one that is simply pure VG.
There are a few more things you should know about VG and PG: PG-based e-liquids give a harder throat strike, so they are more satisfying for former smokers; VG-based e-liquids have a sweet undertone that can affect the taste of the e-juice; VG-based e-liquids are more viscous than PG e-juice, so they can sometimes smear your vape. But don’t let anything stop you from chasing those clouds.
3. Go Sub-Ohm
Sub-ohm vaping is when you use a vape tank with atomising coils that have a resistance of less than 1.0 ohms. When the resistance is so low, the coil reaches high temperatures more quickly, which means that steam is produced more quickly, resulting in larger clouds.
If you are interested in trying out sub-ohm vaping, you will need to select a sub-ohm tank and then choose a battery that can handle sub-ohm resistances. One caveat about sub-ohm vaping is that the coils burn out more quickly, so they need to be replaced more often. This means that sub-ohm vaping is a little more expensive, so keep this in mind.
4. Turn up the Heat
More heat means more clouds. This is the case whether you use dry herbal vapes, vape mods or wax vaporizers. The heat leads to a faster production of steam, but it also means that the steam tends to be rougher and the taste is less pronounced. Higher temperature and power settings are usually more for veterans than for beginners, a fact you should have noticed by now.
5. Dry your Dry Herb
Nobody likes damp, sticky herb, and now there is even less reason to do so. If you get your herb as dry as possible, the amount of steam it produces will increase. If you feel that your herbs are not dry enough, you can dry them yourself.
Apart from producing more steam, drier herbs also produce a better taste and they evaporate more efficiently. So keep these buds dry before you put them in your vaporizer.
6. Grind it Out
Grinding your herbs is a must for any dry herb vaporizer to reach its full potential. This is because the vaporizer is able to heat the herb more evenly and efficiently and better heating means bigger clouds. So grab a good grinder to get the best taste and the biggest clouds for your weed vaporizer.
Big Clouds, Big Fun
It’s a lot of fun to look at these big clouds, but the most important thing is that you enjoy your vaping experience. So if you have problems creating plenty of fog, don’t worry. Just relax!
